- Focus on the joys in life and surround yourself with upbeat people who share the bright outlook.
- Make customers feel good about doing business with you by giving them what they want: timely, accurate and courteous service.
- Do your best to stay calm. Don't allow yourself to be drawn into an argument.
- Focus on the issue and solution rather than on the person.
- Put distractions aside and give each customer your undivided attention.
- It is easier to keep existing customers than to find new ones. Do your best to maintain and build your customer loyalty.
- Aim to send off every customer with a smile.
- If you are unable to fulfill a customer's request, suggest options.
- Strive to resolve complaints. Expect that customers will talk to others about their experience with you, whether it's good or bad.
